The augmentation mammoplasty is one of the most performed plastic surgery procedures and one of the most satisfaction generated in our patients.

HOW IS A MAMOPLASTY PERFORMED?

Our favorite approach is in the lower part of the areola, because the scar is practically imperceptible and does not alter breastfeeding or sensitivity.

WHAT IMPLANTS DO WE USE?

The implants that we use are cohesive silicone gel, from the Natrelle de Allergan and Mentor de Jhonson and Jhonson brands, which are the most prestigious on the market and those that give the best shape and texture.

These implants come in three projections:

- Low profile:  for a result with a very natural enhancement

- Medium profile: for a neckline with a slightly full highligh

- Profile high: for a neckline with a very round and unnatural enhancement

We do not recommend very large sizes because these, in addition to presenting several problems, are aesthetically unpleasant. An attractive but not vulgar aspect is sought, avoiding a artificial and artificial form.

HOW DO WE CHOOSE THE SIZE AND THE FORM?

Although we generally recommend small sizes and natural enhancements, who finally decides the size and shape of their breasts is the patient.

The augmentation mammoplasty is a technically simple procedure, however, the real difficulty is that the surgeon manages to interpret the size and shape that your patient has in mind.

There are multiple alternatives to establish this measure, but at the institute we use reference photos, which serves to always give our patients the result they are looking for.

Patients choose two photographs of a model without a bra, with the arms down and with this reference we approach this result in a very precise way, not only in the form but also in the size.
