WHAT IS A PEELING?

For many years the Felipe Amaya Institute has studied the physiological changes of aging of the face and the potential of the skin for self-repair.
The Felipe Amaya Institute uses multiple formulas for each type of skin, with different products and concentrations, according to the thickness, color and the problems of each patient.

The application of these preparations on the skin is called Chemoexfoliation or peeling, but has become popular among their patients as AmayaPeel®.

With this treatment, a regeneration of all the layers of the skin occurs without surgery, with a rejuvenation and a receding of the aging process, given not only by the tensioning that occurs in the deep tissues, but by the correction of spots and wrinkles of the superficial layers.

The history surrounding chemical peels of rejuvenation is fascinating.

Master formulas are applied that use a combination of natural organic acids that have been extensively researched.

This technique is not surgery and does NOT require the use of general anesthesia.

Dr. Amaya personally performs the treatment in the rejuvenation unit of his Institute, with mild sedation, since the application of the products on the skin produces burning.

WHAT DOES AMAYAPEEL® CONSIST OF?

The treatment consists of the application on the skin of the face of a wet mask with the formulas prepared by Doctor Amaya, which will produce a scab that when removed in approximately 12 days, will take with it the superficial layer of the skin, eliminating all the spots and wrinkles, revealing a new skin, with a great lifting of flabby and drained tissues.

HOW IS RECOVERY?

In the days following the peel and not least, a healing is done with a mask with a selection of natural products, to promote healing, regeneration and maturation of the new skin.

At the end of this period that usually takes 12 days, the skin looks smooth and rejuvenated, but with a redness that will progressively improve in the following months, until getting a completely natural and fresh color after 5 months.

WHO ARE CANDIDATES?

Dr. Amaya's Peeling offers individualized alternatives for the needs of each patient and covers an age range from 60 to 85 years, with formulas for each age group and for each problem in particular.

IN WHOM IS THIS PROCEDURE CONTRAINDICATED?

It is contraindicated in patients with cardiac arrhythmias.

HOW MANY YEARS CAN BE REJUVENATED?

The AmayaPeel® corrects all these changes in a radical way. The rejuvenation that is achieved is real and definitive and is usually between 10 to 20 years. The patients of 60, 70 and 80 years are again 50 years old.

HOW LONG DOES THE RESULTS LAST?

The results last 15 to 20 years. The skin treated with this system will be fresh and young for many years and the aging process will happen at a much slower pace.
